studio producer and engineer
producer
As a producer my goal is to help the artist realize their vision - to create an atmosphere of comfort and security - in which to stretch out, take chances and push the limits of artistic expression! Discover what the artist does well, and put a spotlight on it!
What does a producer do? Well, each artist is unique and can require a different skillset in a producer. One size does not fit all! Is the artist already established with tons of studio experience, or is this the first time in the studio? A solo artist who needs session musicians, or a self-contained band? Need help with fine tuning musical direction? Are all of the songs chosen? How about the song arrangements? Instrumentation? and performances…..aaahhh yes, performances! The producer should be able to set the stage for the artist give the absolute best performances! After all, it is our responsibility, and pleasure, to make an emotional connection with the listener!
