I am currently teaching lessons in drums/percussion and recording/mixing in person and online. For over 10 years I was adjunct faculty in the University of Memphis’s Music Industry/Recording Technology Department. Many of my former recording/music business students now work professionally in the music/tv industry.

Have taught master classes in percussion, judged solo/ensemble and region band tryouts, have been a member of percussion staff at several summer band camps, and worked as a clinician for Texas Region 23 All-Region bands.

My junior and high school percussion student accomplishments include: 100+ in Region Bands, 20+ in Area Bands, 7 Texas and Arkansas All-State Bands and Orchestras, 3 Texas State Championship Medals (Solo/Ensemble). Scholarships to major universities include: Baylor University, University of North Texas, University of Houston, Sam Houston State University, Stephen F. Austin State University, University of Texas Austin, Texas State University, Arkansas State University and the Eastman School of Music.

I co-produce the YouTube channel, Percussion Pro Productions, with Ethan Ahmad that features performances and educational information in percussion.
