Recording background vocals for Darbi Shaun

Recorded background vocals this week on “Midnight and You” by singer/songwriter, Darbi Shaun. Singers were Barry Coffing, Clay Melton and Danny Jones. David Ehninger manned the “console” and computer world. We used one of our go to miking set-ups. Neumann M149, John Hardy M-1 mic pre, Black Lion Audio “Bluey”. I love when an artist is asked or volunteers to work on another artist’s song. As was the case with Clay and Darbi. (Also, the Reed Brothers working on K Phillips project…but, more on that later) I am told Darbi’s “Midnight and You” will be released sometime in June. Musicians include Brennen Nase-Bass, Clay Melton-guitars, Barry Coffing-keys, Jonathan Karpicke - fiddle, Danny Jones-drums. Barry Coffing was also the producer.
