Recording Vocals with Clay Melton

Danny Jones and Clay Melton going over lyrics in the Across The Road LLC control room. I recorded Clay’s vocal using a Neumann M149 mic with my trusty John Hardy M-1 mic preamp and Black Lion Audio’s “Bluey” compressor. The converter used was Antelope “Goliath” recorded to Steinberg’s Cubase 11. Great voice and great gear!
